Karachi Schools Closed Tomorrow – In a move to commemorate the death anniversary of former Prime Minister and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, all public and private educational institutions in Karachi will remain closed on April 4. This decision, echoed across Sindh, encompasses cities such as Hyderabad, Sukkur, Larkana, and Jamshoor.
This closure marks the second holiday in the current week, following the closure on April 1 for Youm-e-Ali. The provincial government of Sindh has formally announced this holiday through a notification. It specifies that all government offices, autonomous bodies, corporations, and local councils under the provincial government, excluding those involved in essential services, will also observe the holiday on Thursday.
This measure ensures that students, teachers, and staff across Karachi have a day off to reflect and honor the legacy of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, while also respecting the cultural and historical significance of the occasion.
