MDCAT 2023 Reconduct in KPK: Strict Security Measures in Place

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Department of Home Affairs has finalized preparations for the upcoming MDCAT test scheduled for November 26 across the region. The Department of Interior in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has established guidelines to ensure a smooth and well-organized conduct of the test.

Examination Centers

To facilitate the MDCAT test, examination centers will set up in various locations, including Dera Ismail Khan, Kohat, Mardan, Lower Dir, Swat, and Abbottabad. A total of 11 examination centers will be available in all districts, including Peshawar. Peshawar Police will oversee the printing and other crucial aspects of the MD CAT test, while Khyber Medical University will provide information regarding the examination staff’s duties.

Supervision of Examination Material Transportation

The transportation of examination materials from Khyber Medical University to the examination centers will closely supervised by the police, with support from the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) for security measures, including the use of walk-through gates for the exam.

Deployment of Female Police Officers

In addition to security measures, female police officers will deployed at the examination venues, and the Traffic Department will manage traffic in the vicinity of the examination halls. During the test hours, mobile tower services near the centers will temporarily suspended.

To maintain the integrity of the exam process, administrative officers from various Khyber Pakhtunkhwa departments will not involved in exam-related matters. The police will solely focus on security duties, as directed by the Home Affairs and Interior Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Installation of CCTV Cameras

Furthermore, the installation of CCTV cameras in all designated examination centers within the province planned. The use of mobile phones will strictly prohibited for both staff and students during the exam.

In case of any emergencies, the Health department will provide assistance, and the Deputy Commissioners of all seven districts will act as Regional Coordinator Officers. Cooperation and coordination among relevant institutions have emphasized by the Department of Interior in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to ensure the successful execution of the MD CAT test.
