As the anticipation builds, 167,077 aspiring medical and dental students are set to take the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) on September 22 in Karachi, according to Umar Khan, spokesperson for the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC).
MDCAT Exams in Karachi 2024 Location
The Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) has been entrusted with the crucial task of administering this significant test, which will take place at the NED University and the DUHS Ojha campus. Out of the total candidates, 13,000 will represent Karachi, while 38,000 will come from across Sindh. This year, the test will determine eligibility for 858 seats across medical and dental colleges in Karachi.
MDCAT Exam Time and Documents to Bring
Candidates are reminded to bring essential documents, including:
- Admit cards
- Computerized national identity cards/B-forms
- Domicile/PRC
Admission to the examination centers will be strictly from 7 AM to 9 AM, with the doors closing promptly afterward. The test itself will run from 10 AM to 1:30 PM.
Strict Regulations on Electronic Devices
To ensure a fair testing environment, students are prohibited from bringing mobile phones, calculators, watches, Bluetooth devices, or any other electronics. Violations of this policy will result in immediate cancellation of the candidate’s admission card.
