New Teaching License System Launches in Pakistan for All B.Ed Graduates

In a groundbreaking move, the Sindh government in Pakistan has introduced a pioneering initiative, marking the first-ever provision of teaching licenses to educators in the region.

The caretaker government has extended an invitation for online applications for teaching licenses through the Sindh Testing Service (STS). Prospective candidates can take the teaching license test scheduled for January 11, with eligibility open to individuals holding a 4-year B.Ed degree.

Successful candidates in the teaching license exam will gain eligibility for coveted Grade 16 Elementary Teacher positions within the Sindh Government. Expressing the purpose behind this innovative step, Caretaker Education Minister Rana Hussain emphasized the initiative’s goal of enhancing the overall capacity of teachers.

Administered by the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Sukkur, the tests are set to take place in multiple locations, including Karachi, Hyderabad, and Sukkur. This widespread distribution aims to facilitate accessibility for candidates from various regions.

To participate in this transformative opportunity, interested individuals can submit their applications online until the deadline on January 11, 2024.
