Punjab Reveals Official Dates for 2026 Matric & Inter Exams

The PBCC (Punjab Boards Committee of Chairman) has officially announced the dates and timetable for the Matric and Inter classes for the year 2026.

 The PBCC notice indicated that the matric exams for grade 09 and grade 10 will start on March 3, 2026, and extend through early March, thereby providing an organized way to schedule over two million students registered in Punjab’s multi-Board system.

For intermediate students attending both 11th and 12th grades, exams begin a few weeks later, starting on May 5 2026. These exams extend into early June 2026. Students need to take their preparation for exams seriously. This aligns with allowing students enough time after the matric exams to prepare and present their intermediate-level papers. 

As the most populous province in Pakistan, Punjab conducts these public examinations yearly under the Punjab Boards Committee of Chairman, administering to some boards, including Lahore, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Rawalpindi, Bahawalpur, and Multan boards.

Parents and students should regularly check the official board websites and notifications to stay informed about exam centers, admission cards, and timetable updates. As the matric and intermediate exams are the core of students’ early education.
