The QS Ranking 2019 has included seven Pakistani universities into its annual global grading of top 1,000 universities worldwide.
The Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences (PIEAS), an Islamabad-based varsity has been ranked as the country’s highest-ranking varsity at 397 in QS ranking.
In addition, in QS ranking, The National University of Science and Technology (NUST) also stands at 417 followed by Quaid-e-Azam University (QAU).
Following are ranks and universities named in the further list:
NUST Islamabad: 417
Comsats Institute of Information Technology: 751-800
University of Engineering & Technology (UET) Lahore: 801-1000
and also University of Punjab: 801-1000
However, no university from Sindh, K-P and Balochistan made it to the global ranking.
Moreover, The Massachusetts Institute of Technology grabbed the top position in the world QS ranking followed by Stanford University and Harvard University respectively.
