It is expected that the school vacations in Sindh may extend further as more cases of deadly Coronavirus are now reported in Karachi.
School vacations In Karachi were announced till March 13. However, the Sindh Health Department gave suggestions to close schools for more days. In addition, ban on large public gatherings including PSL matches in Karachi may be also imposed. It is noted that up till 16 Coronavirus cases are reported in Pakistan and 13 of them are from Karachi.
The decision was taken during the health department meeting. However, the recommendation is also made regarding the setting up of health desk at the Karachi airport. However, the aim is to screen all people entering the city via airport.
As per the health department spokesperson, health desks will also be developed at other hospitals. He further added that, recommendation to move PSL matches from Karachi will also be sent to the government.
