The Sindh School Education and Literacy Department has recently rolled out the academic schedule for 2024-25. In a surprising move, the department has decided to promote students from grades I to III without conducting exams this year.
As per the official announcement, examinations for grades IV to VIII are scheduled to take place post-Eid. The examination window for these classes is set from April 15 to April 27. Meanwhile, board examinations for grades 9 and 10 are slated for May.
The department has also made a significant shift in the academic year commencement. Contrary to the usual April 1 start, the new academic session for 2024-25 will kick off on August 1, 2024.
In terms of vacations, the summer break for the 2024-25 academic session will span from June 1, 2024, to July 31, 2024. Additionally, the winter break for the session is scheduled from December 21, 2024, to December 31, 2024.
