- Only students with A1 and A grades will be eligible for admission on an open-merit basis.
- Students with lower grades will be admitted based on the zonal admission policy.
- Electronic Centralized College Admission Policy:
- The department has introduced an Electronic Centralized College Admission Policy for the session 2024-25.
- This system includes the continuation of the college zone system in Karachi, which restricts students to applying to their nearest colleges.
- Options for High Achievers:
- Students with A1 and A grades have the flexibility to apply to any college for admission.
Admissions will be granted based on the 10th class results, with thousands of students expected to apply after passing their matriculation exams. Historically, only about 40 percent of these students manage to pass their intermediate exams, highlighting the importance of the new policy in shaping their academic future.
