The Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) has officially announced summer vacations for schools and colleges in the Islamabad Capital Territory.
FDE Summer Vacation 2024 Notification
According to the latest notification, all educational institutions under FDE’s jurisdiction will close for summer break starting June 10, 2024. The break will continue until July 31, 2024, with regular classes resuming on August 1, 2024.
This nearly two-month-long hiatus is designed to give students a much-needed respite from the sweltering summer heat.
The announcement follows the annual tradition of scheduling summer vacations to ensure that students can escape the intense temperatures typical of the region during this period.
With the mercury soaring, the FDE’s decision aims to safeguard students’ health and well-being.
