TikTok Videos Lead to Student Failures in Sindh Exams

In a bid to tackle the issue of cheating during board exams, Ismail Rahoo, the Provincial Minister for Universities and Boards, has taken a strong stance against misconduct. Expressing disappointment with the lack of measures to curb cheating, the minister has announced a series of initiatives aimed at ensuring a fair and transparent examination process across the province.

Main Body: Under the new directives, matriculation students in Hyderabad who were found recording TikTok videos during exams will face severe penalties. The decision has been endorsed by the Sindh government, which has urged other boards to adopt similar measures to discourage cheating and maintain the integrity of the examination system.

In addition, the government has emphasized the need for increased vigilance at all exam centers, particularly those catering to female students. Female vigilance teams will be deployed to monitor the examination process, ensuring a secure and conducive environment for all students. This step aims to address concerns regarding the fairness of the examination process and promote gender equality.

Another significant issue highlighted by Minister Rahoo is the smuggling of mobile phones into exam centers. Such activities pose a significant threat to the integrity of the exams, as they can facilitate cheating. To combat this, the government has stressed the importance of taking strict action against students involved in smuggling mobile phones into exam venues.
