Admission Requirements
Students applying to four and five-year bachelor programs in the Department of Visual Studies should meet the following criteria:
- At least 50 marks in their Higher Secondary School Certificate or equivalent examinations.
- If they have completed diplomas, they should have at least 60 marks to be eligible for the aptitude test of the department.
Entry Test Dates
- Visual Studies Aptitude Test: November 19, 2023
- Admission List Announcement: December 12, 2023
For candidates aspiring to enter the Doctor of Pharmacy program, a minimum of 60 percent marks in the pre-medical intermediate examination or equivalent exams is required.
Important Note
Dr. Saima Akhtar emphasized that students planning to apply for self-finance or reserved seats must successfully clear the entrance test to be considered for admission.
Conducting the Entry Test
The University of Karachi will conduct the entry test through its own assessment and testing service, known as the “Karachi University Assessment and Testing Service.”
