Punjab Govt Announces New School Timings Effective from August 15
The Punjab School Education Department has announced updated school timings that will be effective from August 15, 2024, as the summer vacations come to an end. These new timings apply to all government and private schools across Punjab.
New School Timings from August 15:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
For schools operating double shifts:
- Morning Session: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- Afternoon Session: 1:00 PM to 5:30 PM
- Friday (Evening Shift): 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM
Teachers’ Timings:
- Regular Schools:
- Weekdays: 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM
- Double-Shift Schools:
- Morning Shift: 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM (Weekdays)
- Evening Shift: 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM (Weekdays)
The revised timings are aimed at optimizing the school schedule as students return to regular classes after the summer break. Parents and students are advised to take note of these changes to ensure smooth adherence to the new schedule.
