The Sindh Education Department has officially announced the winter holidays 2025 for schools and colleges across the province. All public and private educational institutions will close from 22 to 31 December. Classes will resume on 1 January 2026.

Board Exams Continue During Winter Holidays

While schools are closed, the board supplementary exams will continue as scheduled. Students taking retests or pending papers should follow the exam timetable. Authorities have confirmed that the break does not affect exam schedules.

The department issued a formal notice through its Steering Committee. The decision follows meetings earlier this month to finalize the holiday schedule. The winter break 2025 Sindh covers 10 days, with 21 December being a Sunday already observed as a holiday.

Sindh’s winter holidays are shorter than Punjab’s, which run until 10 January. Authorities say this aligns with local school calendars and seasonal conditions.
