Veteran Pakistani television actress Ayesha Khan passes away at the age of 77. Her death was confirmed on June 20, 2025, with reports stating that she passed away around June 13, 2025. Actress Ayesha Khan was found dead in her apartment located in Karachi’s Gulshan-e-Iqbal area.
According to police reports, her body was approximately a week old at the time of discovery, and her death was discovered after neighbours reported a strong odour coming from her residence. She had been living alone. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for legal formalities and then moved to the Edhi Foundation’s mortuary at Sohrab Goth. A post-mortem examination was scheduled on the request of her family. Funeral details were pending at the time of reporting.
Ayesha Khan passed away after reportedly battling health issues for several years. She had stepped away from television in recent years due to her medical condition.
