TV actress Alizeh Shah formally rejected the 2023 assault claims made by her co-star Minsa Malik during the drama shoot of one of Ever-Ready Productions. This controversy brought up again recently when Shah, in response to the first information report (FIR), filed by Malik alleged Shah had hurled a lit cigarette upon her and physically assaulted her on the set.

In her detailed statement, Alizeh Shah refuted the accusations, stating she did not initiate any physical confrontation. “She pushed me. I didn’t fall. And then she slapped me. I was shocked,” Shah said. She also dismissed the cigarette claim, asserting, “She started telling everyone I threw a cigarette at her. But nothing like that was captured on camera. The cameras were rolling during the incident.”
Shah did admit to reacting later in a private space. “Yes, I threw my sandal at her. That’s it. I wouldn’t even touch you. How disgusting you are,” she added.
According to Shah, she was advised against filing her own FIR to prevent delays or issues with the ongoing drama shoot. “And the next morning, I see news that I assaulted her and tore her clothes. None of that happened,” she clarified.
Alizeh Shah also spoke out on the broader industry practices, saying, “I don’t allow anyone to touch me if it’s not part of the scene. You have to ask me first. I’m not your property.” She posted this message on her Instagram story, urging her followers not to blindly believe everything shared on social media.
The incident continues to stir debate over on-set behavior and the treatment of actresses within the entertainment industry.
