Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin made a splash on the internet after a kiss cam segment during a concert on the band’s Music of the Spheres World Tour at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, on July 16, 2025. The video found Andy Byron, CEO of Astronomer, and the firm’s Chief People Officer, Kristin Cabot in an intimate scene on the stadium jumbotron.
As the camera zoomed in, Byron ducked out of sight while Cabot covered her face. Chris Martin commented, “Oh, look at these two… either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy,” prompting laughter from the crowd. The moment quickly went viral on platforms like TikTok and X, where users speculated about a possible affair between the two senior executives.
Byron, who is married to Megan Kerrigan, has not responded publicly. Kerrigan’s name was removed from her Facebook profile shortly after the event, and her account has since been deactivated following a surge of comments referencing the incident.
Cabot, who joined Astronomer in November 2024 and is reportedly also married, has remained silent as well. The company has not issued an official statement. The kiss cam clip led to various memes and trending discussions, with some questioning the decision to attend a public concert while allegedly hiding a relationship.
Chris Martin later addressed the situation during the same concert, saying, “Oh shit, I hope we didn’t do something bad,” before continuing the performance. A fake statement from Coldplay regarding “camera-free sections” also circulated online but was later debunked.
The band’s tour continues with upcoming shows in Madison, Nashville, Miami, and London’s Wembley Stadium.
