The model was arrested in a currency smuggling case when she carried the $500,000?at Islamabad airport on March 14, 2015. She spent 4 months in Adiala jail and after that, her name was also mentioned in the Exit Control List (ECL).
Although, she was released from jail on bail in July 2016 and later she went back to Dubai after a court-ordered removal of her name from ECL.
