The hearing of bail plea for Bollywood actor Salman Khan has ended on Saturday morning at the Jodhpur District and Sessions Court. The court’s order on bail plea is expected to be announced soon. Judge Ravindra Kumar Joshi, who is recently transferred on Friday heard the bail plea. Judge Joshi will be replaced in a week by Chandra Kumar Songara, district and sessions judge of Bhilwara.

On Friday 6th April 2018, Judge Ravindra Kumar Joshi had adjourned the hearing by a day, as he wanted to analyze the details of the case record before deciding about the bail decision of Salman Khan.
Black buck Poaching Case
Bollywood superstar was found guilty of hunting down two precious black bucks while shooting for the film Hum Saath Saath Hain in 1998. He was accompanied by co-stars of the movie including Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bindre, and Neelam Kothari. Salman Khan was convicted under Wildlife Protection Laws and is sentenced for five years in prison.
The Black buck Poaching case has haunted Salman Khan for nearly twenty years, and he had been held in custody three times earlier. In 1998, Salman Khan was accused of using illegal weapon to shoot black bucks and for that he had spent a week in prison. On the same trip, Salman Khan was also found guilty of killing gazelles and was briefly sent to jail in 2006 and 2007, but after an appeal he was acquitted.

Salman Khan has been surrounded by various controversies. Apart from his glamorous relationships with various actresses, he also had a case of hit and run against him for killing a homeless man. He was although cleared from the case in 2015, the decision is now challenged in the Supreme Court.
The latest verdict of Black buck Poaching case has triggered a wave of sympathy for the Bollywood star.
