Jurassic World: the Fallen Kingdom and incredibles 2 dominates the box this weekend once more.
As estimates shows on Sunday the two new entrants win over the expectations of becoming third and fourth, respectively. The Universal Picture’s heavy beat dinosaur film bagged $60 million for the first three day weekend, according to watcher Exhibition Relations. Along with the Pixar animation the Incredibles 2 makes $45.5 million. Both films bolstered the receipts by the mid of June to 15 percent.
Meanwhile, action pact thriller starring Benicio Del Toro and Josh Brolin, the Sicario secures in $19 million outshone its well-reviewed original by $7 million. Its strikingly-contemporary premise has CIA spy Brolin in tandem with hitman Del Toro to fight drug cartels smuggling “terrorists” across the Mexican border.
Warner Bros’s Ocean 8 moves to two spots, at fifth place, taking in $8 million after its fourth week. The female-centric heist film starring: Anne Hathaway , Sandra Bullock, and Cate Blanchett.
Uncle Drew (Irving, in a role that originated in a Pepsi ad) rounds up his old crew ahead of a big tournament in Brooklyn. The film took in $15.5 million.
