Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif joined the cast of Salman Khan’s Film ‘Bharat’ after Priyanka Chopra opts to leave the project.
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has welcomed Katrina Kaif onboard his upcoming film Bharat.
Salman expressed his best regards for Katrina Kaif on Twitter.

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif have worked together in various Bollywood films such as Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya, Ek Tha Tiger and its sequel Tiger Zinda Hai.
Priyanka Chopra was earlier approached for the lead role in Bharat, a historical drama about modern India.
Katrina Kaif was selected for the film after Priyanka opted to leave.
Director Ali Abbas Zafar announced that Priyanka Chopra was no longer part of the film.
Congratulating Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas engagement, the directed had tweeted, “Yes Priyanka Chopra is no more part of Bharat and the reason is very very special, she told us in the Nick of time about her decision and we are very happy for her.”

The shooting for Salman Khan’s film Bharat started a few days ago and Priyanka Chopra was expected to join it in August 2018.
Bharat stars Salman Khan in the lead and is a remake of the 2014 Korean film Ode to My Father.
Salman Khan’s film Bharat is expected to release on Eid next year.
