President Alvi Praises Pakistani Cinema for Good Entertainment
President Arif Alvi on Thursday was praising the Pakistani cinema, cinematographers, producers and directors for making the country’s films more entertaining.
President Alvi expressed his satisfaction to Twitter and said, “I watched the movie Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 yesterday. An excellent production. I am glad Pakistan cinema is catching up and creating good entertainment.”

Currently, Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 is the highest grossing film of Pakistan, that has successfully released two of its installments and has received love from international audience as well.
Local Cinemas are going houseful recently and same is the case for worldwide screenings. These recently released movies are being liked by the audience. The films include Punjab nahi Jaungi, Loadwedding, and JPNA2, Teefa in trouble. Recently JPNA 2 set the highest grossing record by earning RS 60 crore in the international box office.
Directed by Nadeem Baig, JPNA2 and features an ensemble star cast of Humayun Saeed, Fahad Mustafa, Vasay Chaudhry, Ahmed Ali Butt, Mawra Hocane, Kubra Khan, Sarwat Gillani and Uzma Khan. The film also featured actors from across the border including veteran actor Kanwaljit Singh.
The film has been hailed by fans and critics alike, calling it, “a new chapter in country’s cinema history” while others have said it is better than the first movie which was released in 2015.
