Rishi Kapoor admitted that he did not recognize his son Ranbir Kapoor in the trailer of movie Sanju.

Sanju is the biopic of Sanjay Dutt and Ranbir Kapoor is playing the leading role of Sanjay Dutt. However, Ranbir’s father Rishi Kapoor said that he did not recognize his son in the trailer. He said that he can swear that he did not recognize Ranbir and he thought that the actor was Sanjay Dutt. He further added that the trailer of Sanju made him emotional. Rishi Kapoor said that when Rajkumar Hirani and Vinod Chopra shown him the trailer, he thought that the actor was Sanjay Dutt. He also said that he was proud of his son Ranbir and felt overwhelmed after watching the trailer.

Rishi Kapoor said that in Sanju, the way Rajkumar Hirani has exhibited Ranbir is the greatest heavenly thing. He said that Ranbir has extremely done well and he is so glad for him. In the teaser it was difficult to differentiate between the character played by Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt himself. Sanju features the highs and lows about Sanjay Dutt’s life. The film which likewise stars Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal, Sonam Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, and Dia Mirza will be released on June 29.
