Hind Rajab Film Storyline
The Hind Rajab film is based on a true story that shows Palestinian Red Crescent Society telephone operators trying for hours to comfort Hind Rajab, who was trapped in a car. Her aunt, uncle, and three cousins had already been killed reportedly by Israeli gunfire before rescuers could reach her.
Recordings in “The Voice of Hind Rajab” film captured her trembling words: “I am very scared, please come.”
According to The Guardian, The Voice of Hind Rajab film was given a 23-minute standing ovation, the longest ever known in the history of the festival. During the screening, the audience was chanting and waving Palestinian flags. Reuters reported that the movie is said to be a good candidate to win the Golden Lion Award.
Actress Saja Kilani said Hind Rajab’s story represents a broader reality, questioning why a child had to beg for life. She added that no society can remain at peace while even one child continues to plead for survival.
Hollywood names including Brad Pitt, Joaquin Phoenix, and Rooney Mara are attached as executive producers of The Voice of Hind Rajab film.
