On Thursday, Bollywood’s most anticipated film Thugs of Hindostan will make its way into the Pakistani cinemas. Finally, fans’ questions to “Pirates of the Caribbean” will get answered with a star-studded cast, battling the British colonizers for money, jewels, and the box office.
Since Diwali festival is just around the corner, the songs sung by pirates on the sea, followed by extravagant dancing done by superstars Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Amitabh Bachchan will surely keep the audience humming.
Thugs of Hindostan has been marked as the most expensive Bollywood movie, which has cost $42 million to make.
The movie has been filmed in Thailand, India, and off the coast of Malta. And for the first time it brings Amir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan together in one screen.
There are some speculations of Amir Khan’s character being almost identical to Jack Sparrow’s, however, Amir has confirmed that there is no similarity between the two films.
The film is directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, and stars actresses Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh as pivot characters.
It is to note that all the cast has undergone severe action training to make sure they know how to dodge bullets and jump off burning ships just before their battles with British soldiers.
