YouTuber Payal Gaming Fake Viral Video Circulates Online, Fact-Checkers Confirm Deepfake

Indian gaming creator Payal Dhare, widely known as Payal Gaming, is trending online after an alleged private video circulated on social media. Multiple checks now point to the clip being a deepfake. Fans have launched a strong defense while urging users to stop sharing the video.

Payal Dhare, known online as Payal Gaming, began trending across X and Telegram on December 16. Posts linked her name to an alleged private video. Many users shared the clip with claims it leaked during her recent Dubai visit.

The video runs for about one minute and twenty seconds. Social media users often call it the “Dubai video.” Several accounts pushed it as real without proof. The claims spread fast across gaming groups and Telegram channels.

Fact checks soon followed. The clip was labeled by the experts of digital forensics and independent reviewers as a deepfake. Fans made visual comparisons and commented on incongruous facial features. They showed the variations in placement of the mole and facial structure. These are not the details that Payal Dhare actually looks like.

The Payal Gaming community responded quickly. Supporters began reporting links and asking others not to repost the video. Many called it an AI face-swap made for clicks and reach. Payal Gaming has over 4.5 million subscribers on YouTube, and her fanbase stayed active throughout the controversy.

As of December 17, Payal Dhare remains in Dubai. She continues to post travel updates on Instagram. She has not released a legal notice or public statement about the viral video.

In late 2025, a number of Indian creators were the targets of the same deepfake claims of MMS. Sofik SK and Dustu Sonali are some names that have appeared in previous incidents.
