A video of an honor killing was shot in the locality of Degari of Quetta, which has created a shocked response in the whole of Pakistan. The murder case has involved the killing of a man and a woman and became viral on social media recently, and the investigation process has been under way by the police.
After honor killing video went viral, the primary suspect, Sardar Sherbaz Satakzai, was brought to an Anti-Terrorism Court in Quetta. The hearing was conducted by Judge Muhammad Mubeen.
The police’s Special Crime Investigation Wing (SCIW) requested physical remand of the accused. After reviewing the case, the court approved a two-day remand, allowing further investigation into the Degari honor killing case.
According to the SCIW officials, they will investigate the motive behind, potential enablers and the background facts of the honor killing video that went viral. The accused was to be presented back to the court after a remand period was over.
