The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has said that the Government of Oman has provided fully funded undergraduate Omani scholarships to Pakistani students to the academic year 2025-2026.
Pakistani students can apply to Oman scholarship in chosen fields such as Engineering, Humanities, Information Technology, and Sciences but not Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy. This program falls under the formal Oman scholarship of Pakistani students HEC program which is considers to strengthen Pakistani educational cooperation with Oman.
What’s Included in Oman Scholarship 2025?
- Funding: Full tuition fee, Allowance of OMR 200/month (excluding housing), and OMR 140/month (including housing), and 1 round trip airfare per year.
- Eligibility: Candidates should be Pakistani nationals, should have successfully completed Intermediate (Grade 12) or equivalent in last 3 years and should be in the age bracket of 23 years and below, as well as be medically sound.
- Documentation: Prior to admission being finalized, an Equivalency Certificate issued by the Ministry of Education in Oman is needed.
- Application Process: Candidates must apply directly to participating Omani universities, notify the Embassy of Pakistan in Muscat via email, and register on Oman’s official student portal.
