Hajj Package Cost Reduction for 2025: Federal Minister Announces Major Price Cuts for Pilgrims

In a move to alleviate financial burdens on aspiring pilgrims, Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Chaudhry Salik Hussain announced substantial reductions in the Hajj 2025 package costs. The 40-day Hajj package decreased by Rs25,000, bringing the total cost to Rs1,050,000. Similarly, the 25-day short Hajj package reduced by Rs50,000, setting the new price at Rs1,100,000.

Hajj 2025 Installments in Pakistan

Pilgrims choosing the 40-day package must pay a third installment of Rs450,000, while those opting for the 25-day package must pay Rs500,000. Payments are due between February 6 and 14, 2025.

Short Hajj Program in Pakistan

To enhance accessibility and comfort, the Ministry has introduced a short Hajj program lasting 20 to 25 days. This initiative allows pilgrims to select accommodation in Madinah for durations ranging from four to eight days.

Hajj Refund 2024 Pakistan

In addition to the cost reductions, the Minister announced refunds totaling over Rs4.75 billion for pilgrims who performed Hajj in 2024. These refunds categorized into seven groups based on factors such as accommodation in Mina, lodging in Makkah, and Maktab C allocation. The refunds will transferred through designated bank branches, with the process commencing within the next two days.

Hajj 2025 Quota and Arrangements

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have finalized the annual Hajj agreement for 2025, allocating a quota of 179,210 Pakistani pilgrims. This year, the government fully utilized its Hajj quota, and no additional applications will accepted. Each pilgrim will receive a specially designed bag containing a Pakistani flag, a QR code for identification, and relevant information. A special mobile app, ‘Pak Hajj,’ will provide all necessary information to pilgrims, including training schedules, flight details, accommodation in Saudi Arabia, and live maps of Hajj sites.

These initiatives by the Ministry of Religious Affairs aim to make the Hajj pilgrimage more affordable and accessible for Pakistani Muslims, ensuring a smoother and more comfortable experience for all participants.
