The Central Ruet e Hilal committee has announced that the moon for Safar1446 Hijri was not sighted anywhere in Pakistan. This conclusion was reached after a series of meetings by the Ruet Hilal Committee, which included officials from the Meteorology Department and SPARCO.

Following the announcement, the Ministry of Religious Affairs confirmed that tomorrow, August 6, will be the 30th day of Muharram. Consequently, the 1st of Safar 1446 Hijri will start on Wednesday, August 7.
