This revelation came to light as Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Chairman, Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, declared the moon’s discreet absence following a convocation in the capital.
The committee, converging for the fifth Islamic month observation, saw Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad spearheading the meeting. Simultaneously, Zonal Ruet-e-Hilal committee members dispersed to their respective provincial headquarters in Karachi and other districts, contributing to the widespread vigilance.
During a press conference in the federal capital, Ruet chief unveiled the commencement of the impending Islamic month, slated to begin on Thursday. Beyond the lunar intricacies, Azad delved into weighty matters, issuing a fatwa against terrorism and emphasizing the paramount importance of global unity. He urged world organizations to actively engage in addressing prevalent issues, underscoring that history would not be forgiving to those who turned a blind eye to the plight of Muslims.
Jamadi-ul Awwal, the fifth month in the Islamic lunar calendar, carries profound significance in the Islamic faith, marking various religious and cultural events. Muslims worldwide rely on the Islamic calendar to discern the timing of religious obligations, such as the sacred period of fasting during Ramadan.
