The Karachi Tablighi Ijtema 2025 date is now set for December 25 to 28 at Manghopir. This massive religious gathering expects over one million people for the final prayer. Authorities have finalized a strict traffic plan to manage the heavy influx of visitors.
Karachi Tablighi Ijtema: Manghopir Transforms into a City of Tents
The Karachi Tablighi Ijtema officially starts on Thursday, December 25, after Asr prayers. It will continue for four days of spiritual sermons and communal learning. This year, the Karachi Ijtema 2025 date moved to December to avoid a clash with Ramadan.
Karachi Tablighi Ijtema Massive Capacity
The site now holds 32,000 tents to house 384,000 residents. Volunteers have built 9,000 toilets and vast wudu areas to serve 50,000 people simultaneously. Twelve canteens and medical clinics are also ready. Standby generators will ensure the sound system stays powered throughout the event.
Nearly 60,000 volunteers are working with Karachi Police to maintain order. The Karachi Ijtema 2025 date means heavy traffic will start near Orangi Town by December 24. Police have set up 22 gates to control the crowd. Arrive very early for the final prayer on Sunday, December 28. Over one million people will join the Dua-e-Khas, which usually causes major road closures across the city.
