One Million Devotees Allowed to Hajj This Year, Announced Saudia Arabia

Saudia Arabia on Saturday announced allowing one million Hajj pilgrims to renew (foreign and domestic) after the pandemic restriction that disrupted the pilgrimages. This has brought ease to Muslims from all around the world. In 2020 restrictions were put forward where Saudi Authorities allowed only 1000 worshippers with preventive measures.

Prior to the announcement of the lockdown where Hajj was paused.  That has caused disrupted dismay among the Muslim communities. Hajj has significant importance in Islam. It is one of the five pillars of Islam. Hajj is one of the largest religious gatherings in the world, where millions of people participate annually.

Now Hajj has been restarted. Muslims from all around the world can proceed with their pilgrimage while adopting sop provided by the Saudi Government. The Hajj will take place in July with all the caution for vaccinated devotees. Saudi Arabia recorded more than nine thousand covid-19 deaths and more than 7 lakh cases. Preventive measures will be taken in mosques and pilgrimages.
