In a remarkable achievement, Hafiz Azam Tariq, a 14-year-old student, has advanced to the finals of the prestigious international Quranic recitation competition being held at Masjid al-Haram. The winner of this prestigious event will be awarded a substantial prize of two hundred thousand riyals.
This global competition, set to run until September 6th, has drawn 166 participants from a staggering 117 different countries. Azam Tariq, with his exceptional recitation skills, has garnered praise from the discerning judges.
Hafiz Azam Tariq, a student at Bait-ul-Salam in Islamabad. He sponsored by the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Pakistan, earned a spot in the final round impressive initial performance. He is now proudly representing Pakistan at the “Musabqat Al-Malik Abdul Aziz” international Quranic recitation competition in Mecca’s Masjid al-Haram.
The distribution of prizes for the successful participants in this competition is as follows:
