Ramadan 2020 Moon has not been sighted in Australia

1st Ramadan 2020 in Australia, New Zealand will begin from Saturday, 25 April 2020

Govt. of Australia has announced that Ramadan 2020 will start on Saturday, April 25, 2020 as the moon is not observed in the Australia region today.

According to Moon Sighting Australia, National Hilaal Committee members confirm about no moon sighting at any region of Australia

The Grand Mufti of Australia has announced that Ramadan in the country will begin from April 25. Hence, Muslims in Australia will start fasting from day after tomorrow. The Grand Mufti of Australia, Dr Ibrahim Abu Mohamad and the Australian National Imams Council call upon all Muslims to preserve their fasting whilst supplicating to Allah to lift the pandemic, protect our countries and spread peace and security all around the world.

Moon Sighting Committee of Australia is the department that announces the sighting of the new moon is not observed on April 23, 2020. The first date of Ramadan started in Australia and First Ramadan will be on April 25, 2020.
