Ramadan Moon Not Sighted in UK, Muslims to Begin Fasting on 23 March

The Islamic Crescents Observation for the UK (ICOUK) has announced that the Ramadan moon is not sighted in UK. Therefore, the first day of fasting will be observed on 23 March 2023.

The committee met on 21 March, Tuesday evening to see the Ramadan moon. The sighting not confirmed by any credible witnesses from different parts of the country.

The government has also announced a number of measures to ensure safe and peaceful Ramadan. Muslims across the United Kingdom are preparing for the month of Ramadan, which is a time of spiritual reflection and devotion.
