Gul Makai: Malala Yousafzai biopic will be screened at United Nations


Malala Yousafzai biopic, Gul Makai special screening will be held at United Nations.

Gul Makai, Malala Yousafzai biopic will highlight the life of Nobel Prize winner at United Nations. However, 450 dignitaries will attend the event including representatives from Intergovernmental Institution for the use of Micro-aalgae Spirulina Against Malnutrition (IIMSAM) and United Nations (UN). The screening will be held at London on 25th January 2019.

Amjad Khan, the Indian filmmaker, directed the biopic that is based on the struggle and journey of Malala Yousafzai spread on several years.

Malala Yousafzai along with her parents Toor Pekai and Ziauddin Yousafzai will be present at the screening. In addition, members of British, Indian, and Pakistani High Commissions will also attend the screening.

In Gul Makai, Reem Sahikh played the role of Malala Yousafzai. However, late Om Puri, Abhimanyu Singh, Divya Dutta, Ajaz Khan, and Mukesh Rishi are also included in the cast.

In New York, another biopic screening will be hosted next month at the UN Headquarters.
