World’s Most Expensive Shoes With a Price Tag of Rs 2.1 billion Launched

The United Arab Emirates recently witnessed the launch of the world’s most expensive shoes, worth PKR 2.1 billion – making them the world’s most expensive shoes. The heels are made from real gold and embellished with diamonds. It took them a total period of nine months to get designed and created.

The most expensive shoes, named ‘Passion Diamond Shoes’, feature hundreds of 15-carat diamonds, along with two D-flawless.

The pair was initially created by a U.A.E. based brand called Jada Dubai in collaboration with Passion Jewellers. The shoes were launched at the world’s only 7-star hotel, the Burj-Al-Arab in Dubai.

According to a report, the previous footwear that was deemed as the world’s “most expensive” were the Debbie Wingham high heels, which costed USD 15.1 million (55.4 million dirham).

Additionally, the shoes that were displayed at the event were reportedly prototype, with a size of 36 EU. However, the real shoes will be custom made with the size of the customer who buys the ‘Passion Diamond Shoes’.

Co-founder and creative director of Jada Dubai Maria Majari stated, “Jada Dubai only designs shoes with diamonds.” She continued, “For the launch of our second collection, we wanted to create a truly unique piece using very rare diamonds,”  Majari further added that approximately 50 guests including VIPs, individuals with an ultra-high-net-worth and media are all invited for the launch event. Below is the video of the most expensive shoes.

The co-founder also added that price for the shoes is fixed, but there will be no sale at the event. “There will be only one pair of The Passion Diamond Shoes in the world. We had to prototype many shoes in Italy in order to find the perfect shape, perfect heel and the perfect color for it.”

She added, “Even inside, the logos of both companies are made out of gold, which is very thin so it will be very comfortable for walking.”
