Multan Sultans announced the new captain for PSL 2021. In Pakistan Super League sixth edition, Mohammad Rizwan will lead the side. However, he is also the vice-captain of Pakistan cricket team. Earlier, Shan Masood was the captain of the PSL franchise.
Mohammad Rizwan is currently in superb form. He emerged as player of the series in both Pak Vs SA Test and T20 series. He scored century in the first South Africa Vs Pakistan match and also became second wicketkeeper after Brendon McCullum who made century in all three formats.
Earlier, he was the part of the winning squad of Karachi Kings who have clinched the title of PSL 2020. However, he did not play all matches from Karachi as Chadwick Walton was their first choice. Cricket fans and analysts are hopeful that Mohammad Rizwan will continue his form in PSL 6.
