Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has officially announced free mobile incentives for all users to mark the milestone of crossing 200 million subscribers nationwide. On June 20, 2025, all mobile users across Pakistan will receive 2GB of free internet data and 200 on-net minutes, valid for 24 hours.
To avail the offer, users need to dial the short code *2200# on June 20. The offer is applicable to all networks including Jazz, Zong, Telenor, and Ufone.
Female Mobile Users to Get Free Smartphones
Alongside the free data and minutes, 200 locally assembled smartphones will distributed to female SIM owners across Pakistan, AJK, and Gilgit-Baltistan. The winners will be selected through computerized balloting, and results will publish on PTA’s official social media accounts.
Free Wi-Fi in Universities of Pakistan
PTA has also confirmed the deployment of free Wi-Fi hotspots for a period of six months at HEC-recognized universities, including selected women universities. The list of eligible universities will shared on PTA’s social channels.
This initiative aims to promote digital access, celebrate subscriber growth, and empower mobile users, particularly women and students. The free internet offer, smartphone giveaway, and Wi-Fi hotspot deployment form part of PTA’s national-scale digital inclusion efforts.
