Samsung is gearing up to launch its latest models, the Galaxy A55 5G and Galaxy A35, in various markets this March. The Galaxy A55 5G is particularly noteworthy, with specifications that promise an exceptional user experience.
The Galaxy A55 5G equipped with a 6.6-inch AMOLED display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate, providing a seamless visual experience. It is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 1480 processor and offers two variants – 6GB RAM and 8GB RAM. Both variants provide storage options of 128GB or 256GB, expandable via a microSD card slot.
The device houses a robust 5,000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging. The camera setup is impressive, featuring a 50-megapixel primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 5-megapixel macro sensor. It also includes a 32-megapixel front camera for high-quality selfies.
The Galaxy A55 5G comes with additional features such as an in-display fingerprint scanner, dual speakers, and IP67 dust and water resistance. It operates on Android 14 with Samsung’s One UI 6.1 software and provides advanced connectivity options like Wi-Fi 6ax, Bluetooth 5.3, and NFC. The device dimensions are 161.1 x 77.4 x 8.2mm, and it weighs 213 grams.
In Europe, the 6GB and 8GB RAM variants expected to priced at 449 euros and 499 euros respectively. The smartphone slated for release on March 11 in Germany and will be available in four color options – Navy, Ice Blue, White, and Purple.
