Governor of Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori has announced to sacrifice of 100 camels at the Governor’s House on Eid-ul-Adha 2024. This significant act of charity was announced following his meeting with Maulana Abdul Khair Azad, the Central Chairman of the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee.
During their meeting, Governor Tessori and Maulana Azad delved into the importance of scholars in fostering national unity and the development of a welfare state. They also discussed broader social issues and reached a consensus on organizing an interfaith harmony conference. This event is scheduled for August at the Governor’s House, aiming to bridge gaps and promote peace among different religious communities.

The day continued with Governor Tessori and Maulana Azad visiting the IT Marquee, where they were warmly greeted by enthusiastic students. The Governor highlighted the provision of free IT courses to students, emphasizing his commitment to educational advancement in the region.
Addressing the students, Maulana Abdul Khair Azad praised the Governor’s initiative, noting its significance for Pakistan’s progress and prosperity. He underscored the importance of collective efforts to drive national development.
Following their visit to the IT Marquee, the Governor and Maulana Azad inspected the ration distribution efforts under the Powerful Pakistan initiative. They also visited the symbolic Bell of Hope, reinforcing their commitment to supporting those in need and fostering a spirit of hope and unity.
