16 December: APS Attack Peshawar, 11 Years Since the Day That Changed Pakistan Forever

On 16 Dec 2025, Pakistan marked the 11th anniversary of the APS attack in Peshawar. The country still recalls 150 casualties of the Army Public School in Peshawar. The day was observed in silence when the government renewed the pledge to bring a stop to terrorism and families and institutions nationwide observed the day.

The Army Public School tragedy claimed 150 lives, including at least 134 students and staff. Seven militants linked to the TTP carried out the assault in Peshawar. The attack targeted children and teachers inside the school. The shock spread across Pakistan within hours.
