In 2013, both Felix Criado and Alex Txikon tried to climb the K2 but failed due to the bad weather. In 2016, Alex Txikon along with Pakistan’s Muhammad Ali “Sadpara” and Italian Simone Moro succeded to ascend the Nanga Parbat.
