2 Public Holidays in Pakistan Expected on 11th and 12th Rabi’ al-Awwal

The Governor of Sindh, Kamran Khan Tessori, has announced a grand celebration at the Governor’s House in Karachi on the 12th of Rabi’ al-Awwal. The event will feature a special illumination display, adding to the festive spirit of the occasion. For the public’s convenience, the doors of the Governor’s House will remain open on this day, allowing everyone to participate in the celebrations.

During a meeting held at the Governor’s House, Tessori also revealed plans to discuss the possibility of declaring public holidays on the 11th and 12th of Rabi’ al-Awwal. He expressed his intention to consult with the Prime Minister and Chief Minister of Sindh on the matter, aiming to facilitate the public’s participation in the religious festivities.

The meeting was attended by the Governor of Balochistan, Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail, and prominent religious scholars, including Maulana Kokab Okarvi, Jameel Rathore, Shahid Ghori, and others. Tessori emphasized the importance of this occasion and the collective efforts to ensure a meaningful celebration.
