In a horrific incident in the Rara Sham area of Musa Khel, 23 passengers were brutally killed after being forcibly removed from their vehicles. According to local authorities, the attack took place when armed militants intercepted trucks and passenger buses on the inter-provincial highway.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Musa Khel, Ayub Achakzai, reported that armed assailants stopped the vehicles, forced the passengers out, and then shot them dead. The attackers also set fire to at least 10 vehicles, exacerbating the devastation.

Emergency services, including the police and Levies, arrived at the scene promptly, but the damage had been done. The bodies were transported to the hospital for further examination and identification.
