25 December Holiday in Pakistan: Latest Update of 2024!

In Pakistan, December 25 holds a special place as it marks the birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of the nation. Commonly called “Quaid-e-Azam Day” or “Jinnah Day,” this significant day is a public holiday across the country.

For Christian employees, December 26 has also been announced as a public holiday, as stated in a Cabinet Division notification.

The Sindh government has taken proactive steps by officially declaring December 25 a holiday for all government offices. Banks across Pakistan will remain closed as well, according to the State Bank of Pakistan’s notification.
