The death anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah observes today with reverence and due solemnity.
70th death anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah observes on September 11 (today). Special prayers will be offered at Quaid-e-Azam’s mausoleum in Karachi. People from all walks of life will visit the place to offer prayers and to lay floral wreaths.
Different private and public educational institutions and organizations will conduct functions to highlight various aspects of Quaid-e-Azam’s life.
Media will also pay tribute to the great leader and will air special programs. Excerpts from his speeches will also be aired during the special transmission.
Quaid-e-Azam united the Muslims of the Subcontinent and led them to acquire a separate country for themselves. He was a lawyer by profession and also served as the first Governor General of Pakistan. He was born on December 25, 1876 and died on September 11, 1948 in Karachi.
