Aamir Liaquat became disappointed over his non-selection for the election ticket.
Aamir Liaquat not being given the election ticket from his recently joined party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). He showed his disappointment and anger through his official Twitter account. Aamir Liaquat also badly criticized PTI’s leader Firdous Shamim Naqvi for his policies. He said that he considered PTI as his home but Firdous Shamim Naqvi did not allot him an election ticket.
Aamir Liaquat warned PTI workers to stop misbehaving with him and remain in their limits. He further added that the issue is not just about the party ticket but about the Karachi’s future. Aamir Liaqaut said that it was chairman’s desire that he will contest the election.
Aamir Liaquat also said that he is not imposing allegations on anyone. He further added that PTI officials do not consider his kindness as his weakness.
Aamir Liaquat is the former MNA and minister for religious affairs. He previously contested elections from the platform of MQM. Earlier this year, he joined PTI and was hopeful to contest Pakistan Elections 2018 from Karachi. A few days back, he also banned from PEMRA over promoting sectarianism in his TV show. However, Islamabad High Court (IHC) later lifted the ban.
