The annual Urs of Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ghazi 2025 started on June 17 at the Sufi saint’s shrine in Clifton, Karachi. This marks the 1295th Urs and will continue until June 19. A public holiday announced in Karachi on June 19, 2025, which corresponds to 22 Zilhajj 1446 AH. All non-essential Karachi Metropolitan Corporation offices will remain closed.

The Urs formally inaugurated with the laying of a ceremonial chadar by the acting governor of Sindh, followed by Fateha and prayers. Thousands of devotees from across Pakistan have arrived at the shrine to attend the three-day spiritual gathering.
The Sindh Auqaf Department has put in place arrangements for shrine cleanliness, security, medical aid, and the distribution of langar (free food). Evening sessions of Qawwali, Mehfil-e-Sama, and Na’at recitations are part of the scheduled events.
Abdullah Shah Ghazi Urs 2025 expected to attract large crowds, with local authorities coordinating traffic and crowd management. Devotees advised to follow public instructions and attend designated areas for prayers and food distribution.
